Colour/greylevel manipulation
A number of functions
are available. The H= and I= functions works by clicking the butten
and subsequently two points in the image, typically a dark point
and a bright point. The functions are:
H=m(H): The hue
of the image is generated as a rainbow scale from blue to red from
the hue of the two points clicket.
H=m(I): The hue
of the image is generated as a rainbow scale from blue to red from
the intensity of the two points clicket.
I=m(H): The intensity
of the image is generated as a grey-scale from black to white from
the hue of the two points clicket.
I=m(I): The intensity
of the image is generated as a grey-scale from black to white from
the intensity of the two points clicket. This is the easiest way
to enhance the contrast of a black&white image. Click the button,
and then the area you want remapped to black, followed by the area
you want remapped as white.All pixels darker than the first point
becomes black and all points brighter than the second becomes white.
invert: Negates
the image
Unfilter: Revert
to original colour/graylevel map.
Satur +10% and
satur -10% increases or decreases the colour saturation by
